    Bike parts available from Supercheap

    FYI

Was in the local Supercheap earlier today and spotted for Motorcycles:

    - Vesrah brake pads
    - Vesrah Oil Filters
    - Ready Air filters (Mainly for the MX guys)

Plus that paint saver stuff for Motorbikes (Stops stone chips and wear 'n tear on your paintwork) something like $45 per roll.

    Dodgy Mofo's.

Repco have been doing that stuff for a little while now (the vesrah brands) and also stock DID chains, FFM helmets and some random luggage. Tank bags n stuff. Wairau Rd REPCO definately.

Local supercheap here has "hiflo filtro" branded oil filters

    The Vesrah stuff listed above

Some euro branded bike oil, can't remember who.

Very small range of bike NGK plugs.

Some Century bike batteries as well = limited sizes but cheaper than the bike shop.

I guess I'll just have to hope my customers prefer to deal with someone who values their custom rather than a spotty faced teenager who wouldn't know his arse from his elbow.

I am really surprised at the number of bikes without this stuff on them,i have it all over the TL including fork legs etc,put on right its almost invisable and works great, peel it off and my 10 year old bike still looks like new.

When it comes to parts like pads & filters etc. just how do you show your customers you value their custom?

Every bike shop I've ever bought a part from goes like this:
me: I'd like an oil filter for a xyz
    them: yup, that's $xyz thanks.
    me: sweet, here ya go.
    them: thanks, see ya.

The guys at Repco Henderson are smart bastards (I used to work there)... I'm not sure about "heaps" of bike parts.... but they do stock the NGK's and oil if you want to use automotive oil... which you shouldn't really do.

They also stock life jackets... if you plan to go for a bit of a ride in the lake.

Personally i would still rather go to the bike shop,i know everyone in there and no matter how big/small the part theres always a bit of banter and generally spend way more time in there than i meant to.To many places in the world to be just a number on a credit card,my bikes shops not one of them.
