I'll be thar, irrespective of weather - looking ok anyway. See you all then.
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....

I'll be there tonight unless I have a hold up, but should be ok.

Missed the start of the ride due to work today but never the less I decided to try and catch the group. I took the Akaroa highway around and met the group just after they had gone over Gebbies. Tucked infront of HOT and away we went to Little River. And man what a blast it was. Not much of a cruise, just a damn fun, fast ride.

Coming back was another story. Myself HOT and Retroqueen left together and I had plenty of fun over the twisty bits. HOT your headlight is poos. I thought you guys were going to my house at one point but you carried on going.

Hope everyone got home safe and sound, and Brent your tyres should be scrubbed in nicely now.

    Cheers

yeah that was fine, bloody cold, I did not need to know that it would get as low as 5 degrees and home would be 8 outside.
Loved the ride. Been quite a while since i have taken a ride over that hill. Great to know me Griso is now a goer, and will be hanging to get to Middlemarch at the weekend.

It was a great wee ride alright and it is good to have a bike with a better head light.
And it was a bit cooler than normal.
The next thing could be heated grips for the new toy.
And some new boots at this rate.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

Haha man the 2 strokes stuck out so badly in that vid.

The cyclist at 2:14 got a good laugh out of me.

And now you've made me late for uni, good job!

Hmmm...twas a bit cold. I had a good ride. Was really relaxing. I think some time on the track has helped me.

Thanks to everyone who've come along this season and made the rides fun. We've had our ups and downs, especially some downs, but I know alot of us still look forward to our Wednesdays.

There's no reason why people can't keep riding for a few weeks. Hell, I might even turn up for a ride. When they start throwing grit down, thats when you gotta call it quits.

In a couple of weeks time we'll kick off the maintenance nights (or should I say "stand around drinking, then bugger off to the pub" nights). We''ll keep you posted.

What a great way to end the WNCR's. I look forward to the next Wednesday rides; it’s nice to go for a ride with such enthusiastic people, it’s a pity we have run out of daylight savings.

Auzy Paul on the back of the hog froze on the way home. I hope I haven't put him off coming back to go skiing this winter.

Yep the grit on Dyers pass slows my riding down a bit, bit it’s usually safe if its not icy and you keep your speed down.

Thanks for the Vid have just shown it to everybody at work and its on its way to Aust as well.

Try a "plus 30" bulb. They are 30% brighter but use no more electrical power.
