It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

It'll be good to get out for the odd ride in the evenings. Looking forward to it.

Just an FYI update for all those outta the loop. And hopefully my bike is fixed by then. Nothing serious just a fairing replacement.

The Department of Internal Affairs has written to key IT providers reminding them about this year's change to daylight saving.

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Rick Barker, announced in April that the period of daylight saving was being extended to 27 weeks. From this year, daylight saving will start on the last Sunday in September and end on the first Sunday in April the following year. Accordingly, the next period of daylight saving will start on Sunday 30 September 2007 (when 2:00am becomes 3:00am) and end on Sunday 6 April 2008 (when 3:00am becomes 2:00am).

    Petrol station now dry

Thanks to the money pinchers at SHELL
The GRETA VALLEY SHELL SHOP no longer has fuel for sale.
Shell had stoped delivering to the garage and are removing the tanks soon
This means for rides from christchirch to kaikora you HAVE TO fuel up at amberley, or try and get to Chevoit on your tank.
Some crusers with smaller tanks may not make chch to kaikora via the inland road without a refuel
Please let any other groups you know of that this has happened,

again Greta Valley is no longer a fuel stop!
But the pub still has beer

That's a bugger, I have used that stop several times.
What about the Waipara turnoff Mobil?
Or are we only talking late evening rides through?

Domett still has a station doesn't it ? but I understand where you are coming from sucks how the fuel companies can decide that your town does not need a fuel site any more.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

as the owner of a machine with an 8 litrefuel tank i have to plan my stops carefully.
i always fill at cheviot, kaikoura and amberley when heading to picton.of course, thats after filling up in belfastthat way i always have a bit left in reserve if cheviot, domett or the others are closed(which they often are)
i have had a few rides at night to the ferry and have to carry four litres for the long lonely section between kaikoura and blenheim
who cares,at least its not boring
