Woop! I can FINALLY come along tomorrow, so long as the weathers all right of course ...
I've been wanting to come along for ages but I usually work till 7.30 or 8 on Wed nights.
You guys leave at 6.30 right? I finish work tomorrow just round the corner at 6.30. Reckon you could hang on for 10 mins more so I can join you?
I'll try to skive off a few mins early if I can ...

Your bike should be prepped as per a HAGD with mirrors off (or taped), lights and indicators taped, side stand zip tied and free of any leaks. Its up to you ensure your bike is safe.
The track is generally open from 9.00am till sometime late in the afternoon. You are sharing time with race cars/karts etc and the car club runs it 30min turn about.
This morning we ran 4x 30min sessions from 9.30-12.30.

Sometimes they will close the track to bikes if it is booked for specific car practice etc so it pays to ring a coupla days in advance before heading out.
Thanks for the info I will cheek it out.
I like the thought that everyone going the same way
    No
    No animals
    And lost of corners

Fast as I can without the worry of trees, cars, cops or stray sheep and just two other bikes.

Would be farkn cool to see more KB'ers using this fantastic resource and venture out there on a Tuesday morning for a few hours. Get it outta the system prior to wednesday.....
You've caught my interest with this track talk what's the guts on getting on the track out there on Tuesdays can you just turn up and ride ? oops just noticed you already answered that question i'm a tool !!

    Small crew tonight.

Not many from the Dawson gang......

2 groups tonight one heading through Tai tap way and weather permitting either back over to the Weatsheaf or on to Duvauchelles.
The other heading via Dyers pass and over to the Weatsheaf.

I was with the Weatsheaf crew where no one went above the posted speed limit and everyone had lemonade (Officer). Good to meet a few new faces and tell lies about bikes.
The weather held off until the trip home although there was no nasty wind which was a blessing.

    Oh hey! and no crashes!

This was my first ride with you lot this evening. Good fun, thanks. There would have been about 20 bikes out, if that's a small group I'd like to see a large one
Really made me realise how crap my cornering is after following some of you lot over the Sumner hill.
Oh yea, some of us inadvertantly went via Sumner it seems
Good to meet some of you, look forward to meeting more another time.

We were the ones that went the right way as it happens - didn't know that Evans pass had moved from Sumner to Cashmere ;-) Nice to meet you Peter and Southern Biker, good that you enjoyed it enough to come back!
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....

Casual? I didn't think it could ever be casual following me, who knows when the brakes are going to light up!
Every corner is a thrilling guessing game!

And the tunnel makes 250s sound awesome.
