Location of incident: Duvauchelle Akaroa

Incident type: Crash closes SH75

Vehicle Crash.
Emergency Services are at the scene of a vehicle crash on the Christchurch Akaroa Road (SH75) in Duvauchelle, near Akaroa.
The road is currently blocked and diversions are in place.
Diversions are in place at Pigeon Bay Rd, and Okains Bay Road.
Motorists are urged to take extreme care and are asked to be patient whilst the emergency staff work hard at dealing with the incident.
Another release will be made once further is known.

Cept for the heat it was a lovely ride!!! thanks heaps. Nice that we had the route listed too cause I got held up with a visitor and was able to meet up at the Lyttleton check point and join in from there.
