Hehehe, I figured you were at the HOG nationals, havent seen you over a couple of WNRs. Will be great to catch up next Wed. I should be there too.

I'm getting these little spots on the chrome on my muffler which is a bit of a pain to take off. I think it is the excess grease flicking off my chain. Might try the slightly more abrasive autosol to see if i can bring it back to its "can be seen from space" shinyness. Polishing wheels is hard too.

    Right better continue polishing then

If anyone's interested, 84 non blue cars and 34 blue cars travelled along the top section of Dyer's Pass Rd (Christchurch side) between 18:04 and 19:09 this evening.
There were also 2 Suzuki motorcycles and 7 non Suzuki motorcycles.
And GammaGuy has a very loud RG.
Also, it is very hard to flick a pebble from on side of the road to the other without it bouncing first.
My RG has the colours red, white, orange, yellow, black, blue, silver, purple, and darker purple on it.
And Dave from the AA tow company (lowtow or something I think) is a good guy.

If anybody requires proof, there is a tally etched into one section of the white rail. Ignore the brown one, I dropped that after I realised I had keys.

D: The piston was rooted and so he did a rebore, new piston and rings etc.
A circlip had popped off and caused havoc.

Well the thing this time is that I know EXACTLY what's wrong.
The thing is that the clutch is stuck IN. So it's permanently in neutral as I can't get the cable to release. The bike runs mint, nothing wrong with it, I can change gears and stuff but I can't actually go anywhere, because the clutch is in. AA dude seemed to think the cable had seized up.

So everything is going, it's just the middleman who's doing it.

So I got it towed to Duane's, left it out there overnight, and I'm gonna give him a ring to explain the situation in about ten minutes. It was going in there today for new brake pads anyway, so they'll just be getting it a bit earlier.

The hilariously painful side of the situation is that I went out riding yesterday to get away from my family for a bit, so I headed to Charteris bay to just lax out for a bit. 2 hours up Dyer's Pass though wasn't quite what I had in mind

Edit: Possibly add a new front disc and spark plug to that order, just got off the phone. At least it didn't get it stolen, woohoo!

We turn up at BK and go for a ride. I could tell you more, but then I would have to go looking for that post that is way back somewhere in the middle of 80odd pages.

Well as far as I remember we're due to head north again. Probably the last time this season. I'm not particularly keen on this idea, but then I never am. We would do this route I guess...
