Had a great ride myself. It was hail, yes it hurts with an open face. Its a pitty the weather was a bit crappy buy I did enjoy the ride back home in the dark.

Good ride last nightA good quite ride out through the tunnel around the bays over Gebbies Pass and onto Little River where we stopped for people to catch up.
Some people turned around at Little River and went back, so about 10ish went over the hill to the pub for a feed and chin wag. When the last of us left it was dark and a good little run over the hill again, which I find it a little harder in the dark but all good. Out on the other side of Little River the wind was kicking it's heels up, going around some of those sweepers you didn't know which way it was going to blow you (hate that) but all good. Ended up taking the long way home going out through Woodend Leithfield and back through Sefton and home. Ended up doing about 300ks for the night.![]()
Cool pics Bent, I especially like that sexy orange beast in the second pic
HOT (HelenOfTroy or HeapOfTrouble) pretty much synonomous I hear.
Oh well that's life on the high side of 100. Got the waggly finger from Mr Plod in my Truck tonight going appreciably over limit when the detector went off. It's just a matter of time before it turns to custard eh.![]()
Exam over...yipee!!
Damn the Akaroa hill is good on a week day!!
I'm off to New Plymouth for Sun to Wed and wont be back in time for the ride next week. Have a good one.

Defiantly not a long this week, I have other things on.
I would remind folks though that Brighton way will have a fireworks display on (no I am not going to that) and traffic in that area of town will be a bit silly, with a high police presence.
Take care all see you the week after.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
do we wanna just go up the hill and be a bunch of posers?
it's gonna be shit weather too by the look of things.
Think I might wimp out myself tonight. Got to get home, get the bike, ride back into town, all before 630, in the wet.
Wont be there. Have work at 9pm and wont be getting to bed today until about 4pm
Now worries though. I get to relax in Hamner tomorrow night.
