Haha yes I do put two stroke oil in the the correct tank, TTS I'll have you know. As far as I'm aware it's been run on that for it's whole life, well at least for the last 4-5 thousand ks. Yes I keep it topped up.
The copious amounts of blue smog in my driveway that have accumulated over time attest to this

In fact for Christmas this year I asked for a 4 litre bottle of the stuff.

Oh well that's one thing to check off the list. I wondered if you hadn't had the bike that long and it had run out. One thing I have learned over the years is never assume anything ;-)

Dangerous, I was more just referring to the fantastic aroma that fills the air every cold morning I've gotten it started, just saying that there's definitely 2 stroke oil in the tank. It's not what I would consider too much for what it is.
I just like it is all

Just gave them a ring (workshop is Trevor Pierce btw, in case anyone has an opinion) and they given it a scouring and can't find anything wrong with it.

So not being one to rule out the possibility that's it's just my own stupidity/misunderstanding I'm taking it back from them and hoping. If it happens again, as I said anyone is welcome to have a poke around it and see if anything makes an interesting clunk or movement.

Changes to the Cruisy Night Ride

Right, last week a lot of the “regulars” gathered to discuss what’s been happening on these rides and the direction we want them to go. We’re not quite ready to give up yet!! Anyway, collectively we’ve decided to make some changes to make the rides more enjoyable and safer for everyone.

This is going to be a bit obstructed as we will have the ride this week and then the week after is xmas eve and the week after that is new years eve.

    1. The Duvauchelles Crew
First of all, naturally the ride has developed into two distinctive groups. One group heads to Duvauchelles every week. We’ve got no problem with that but this group is not considered to be a part of the cruisy ride. They do not need to be organized. Therefore,we ask that they depart from the Burger King carpark by 6.20. This will leave a much more manageable group, being the “cruisy” ride and will help reduce confusion at the carpark.

IF YOU STAY AT THE CARPARK PAST 6.20 THEN BE PREPARED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS. IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, THEN LEAVE.

    2. Rider Responsibility
It is the responsibility of each and every rider to ride safely and within their abilities. If any rider acts in a dangerous manner then they will be asked to leave. Remember, you not only put yourself at danger but also the other riders and the general public. If you do not understand this then do not come.

    3. Rider Assistance
At the carpark we’ll ask that riders who would like some one on one help will be asked to put their hands up and we’ll ask some of the more experienced riders to provide that help. Please don’t be shy. This is an excellent opportunity.

    4. Leader
The cruisy group will have a lead rider appointed each week. Obviously it will be someone with reasonable skill so as to not piss everyone off. The leader will stop at the pre-determined regroup points and wait for the entire group to arrive before departing.

    5. Tail End Charlie
A TEC will also be determined as a safety measure.
