Ok, so it's time we followed the Duvauchelles crew back to Duvauchelles.
We still expect those guys to leave earlier so we can sort out the rest of the group though.
Check out route 3 on this post.
This is a reasonable distance and incoporates some fast straights as well as some awesome twisty bits. For those not keen to go all the way they can bail out at Little River, but please tell someone you're going so we're not all wondering "where did that guy go?"
wow thats a long ride dude.
near 200km?
Dunno if I'll lead, maybe. we'll see.
That sounds more realistic, even Akaroa return is nowhere near 200kms.
It's no worse than Greta valley and in my opinion far more interesting roads...
Watch for debris just over the crest from the Sign of the Kiwi, theres small fragments of rock face scattered over parts of the road. Nothing too major but helps if you know to look out for it.![]()
oh so that's why they call you dodgy dave, you should be able to miss all the gravel bits![]()
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....
Hope the ride went well.
The green machine decided not to start at the Wheatsheaf.Silly thing. After 10 mins of trying gave up and called AA. Another 10 mins later it roars into life! So came home just to be safe.
Cheers JM for waiting!
Gold Diggers....like hookers just smarter
THAT WAS FUN!
any ideas what's up with the squid phoenix?
Had barely any compression. Seems to be something going wrong when I turn it off and try to start it again. It has been in the shop for this before and it will be going back there.
Really disappointed and feeling quite disheartened. I was having an absolutely shit ride up to that point too. Nothing felt right
You gonna buy me one? Cheers bud
