    Final pics from me.

Clint, 640 doing well, 60,000k two sheep and still fanging it with the dirt boys

The Sunday ride was better for me as I didn't have to think about money, who was going to show and who wasn't, did i have enought food, booze etc.

The Stony Bay road was a real type of adventure road and would make for an even more remote camp site, maybe next year......

I told Mark I was going to go ahead for a couple pics and was looking for a nice ocean shot with the bikes in the back ground but Murphys law saw me give up. Once I got shots below and started off just two corners later was the perfect setting i was looking for!!

Mark you were too fast for me to stop & get camera out in time..........

    Dave on S.Bay road/track

    Rosie

    Neal

    Andy

And finally would like to thank all those for showing up, the good riding (mostly!!) and great entertainment from you all.

p.s. like to thank Tiger for another stunning weekend

    Cheers, Cary

Mate, after the weekend that you and Paula turned on, all is forgiven, with an indefinite credit note as well.

What did it cost you to bribe the weatherman into cooperating so well?
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

Yeah, I'm certainly on for a ride with overnighting at Stony Bay.

Considering our prevailing winds are westerly, Stony Bay is usually good camping even in quite bad weather. You just need to be careful where exactly you pitch the tent in the campsite, because there's a nasty anabatic??? catabatic??? wind that rips down off the hill at times. No 2 Son and I had to go sleep in the truck there one night when the tent got torn....

Catabatic....hot days and cold nights, strikes just after sunrise as the heat hits an east facing slope. Pretty awesome by all accounts, flattens yachts etc....(worse than Brents farts!)

Great to meet you lot on saturday and my apologies for only being able to stay for just the morning, however I now have some faces to names, next time!

But....but... Pete said it came DOWN off the hill. How can a heating hillside generate a downhill wind?
I can see how a a cooling hillside would generate a down hill wind shortly after sunset.
    What have I missed here????
