    Dropped Bike, Whoopsee !

Well it seems to be happening to many a person at the moment, so Ill come clean. On Saterday I was up in Whitianga and had a little accident. We had gone down the wrong road and ended up down a side road that had been FRESHLY resealed. It was very very hot. (you can see where Im going with this)
We were stopped completely and decided to turn around, I was watching the person in front of me making sure I was clear of him. When I looked where I was and saw I was not going to make it round. So I put on the brake and put my foot on the ground, OH DEAR my foot slid across the top of freshly loose stone chip and over the bike went. If you have experience this your Know the point of NO RETURN, when the bike has decided to lie down. I was left standing and swearing and more swearing, small pause a little more swearing. A little longer pause and then some more swearing. The bike is hardly touched, (scratched the end of the handle bar.) more the pride has been given a severe dent. It is amazing how quickly you grab your bike and pick the thing up. I basically felt like an idiot for letting it happen. But its one of those things that will happen sooner or later.
No harm done and a lesson learnt. You just feel like such a plonker at the time.

    Cool Juddarbar....

Well at least you are ok.... and so is your bike....

Yep I know what ya mean.... when you know that the bike is going down and you just can't stop it happening.... so at that point you take it down slowly to get as less as possible damage to it...

So you were swearing aye...... well I couldnt hear ya from my place so ya can't have been swearing that loud then....lol

Yes but he goes to fast, unless I take him on one of my Nana tours. hehehe

I agree but from what I saw the Coro loop looked particularily bad at the moment.

I cannot get up that early I need all the beauty sleep I can get. Infact I should be in bed now.

hay good to see you put those frame sliders to good use

welcome to the club.... its the personalisation of your bike mate, I have my silver tape on indicator to proof it.

Re Coro loop, how about we all get up and ride early, stop at a beach for the sunny part and then ride back as the sun goes down?

    Arrow Oh well, shit happens.

Good to hear that you and your bike are OK anyway.

Intermittent lumpy gravity. There's a lot of it going around that the moment.

    Be careful out there people!
