Word has come back (after sitting in a shed for several years) that my RD350LC is definitely bent. It always did ride a bit funny...
WHat suggestions for straightning?
There is Whele and Frame (?) in Cambridge, but I would have to take some time off work to run it down there. They do have a good reputation.
Is Tjebbie Bruin any good? How do prices compare?
Anyone else in Auckland?

Even though Tjebbe is a brain surgeon he certainly doesn't have the specialised equipment that Wheel & Frame or Rapid Art have so I guess it's a balance of the time / money / end result you have to spare and/or are looking for.

Last frame I straightened I used a couple of bricks, a length of 2 inch water pipe a sandbag and the BLOODY HEAVY HAMMER.
I guess times have changed.
Rode OK afterward though.,

In my experience our MR Bruin can't be beaten for this job.
The older steel frames like ya RZ are his specialty.
To save money--rip all the plastics off,rip the tank and instrument panel off. remove the front brakes.as a unit.

=+1 for Steve with frames. John at Wheel n Frame is great, but Steve is geared towards straighening frames. MHO

Yep, Steve Bridge certainly has the best gear for this job. Comes down to whether you want to spend the extra $$ on travel and can get the time off (or find someone else to take the frame down (or a friendly transport company?)) to get your frame down to him.
By the way, for those who don't know Steve Bridge/F1 Engineering/Rapid Art are the same entity
