Haven't posted in while but in between drinks I managed to buy a Triumph Speed Triple. It is nice and I like it, simple . It seems to go like stink and is nice in the corners whilst being very comfortable for commuting (bar the handle bars that angle in a little too much for my wrists).

Anyway, I recall reading a magazine where their long term test 07 Speed Triple developed a ticking from the engine. I believe that my bike may also be 'ticking' (valve area is where the sound is eminating from) but I can't recall what it was diagnosed to be. I am probably being antsy here and nothing is wrong but I would like to know if it is a prob or if anyone knows of Speed Trip issues.

Sounds like the Cam Chain tensioner issue.
There is some after-market kit available that resolves it.
Really I know nothing about it other than what deeknow told me. He has just upgraded to one. Doesnt look like he gets online much, but I could hussle him along if you cant find any other answers. PM if you need
