Does your house have a self-contained garage with a door and was there any disc-lock/chain around it?

I know it's fucken gutting, and I ask this because if you have an open space garage it's worth getting some sort of chain/lock around the bike (especially if it's new).

Sometimes all it takes to deter a thief is something small and simple like a disc-lock, but it's a case of minimizing your risk not eliminating it, if the cunts want it bad enough, they will find a way to take it. It's always a bitch looking in hindsight.

    Will keep an eye mate!

It is in a open garage blocked in by 3 cars and walls either side... The only way for it to be moved was to lift it around the cars.

A disc lock would have done nothing, if i had the chance a chain round the pole next to where it parks would be the go... But in all honesty they probably would have taken it anyway...!

The bike is immobilised and steering was locked... The only way they got it out was with a few big dudes and a truck or trailer waiting...!

Someone knew it was there and had planned a way in whcih to remove it which is more worrying than it actually being stolen.

Hey bro, I have seen that exact model with a carbon rear hugger in chch central today, unfortunatly I just saw a little bit of his number plate 31___ Maybe a Z as a third character because he was turning at that point couldnt see the rest. Unfortunatly I just remembered shortly afterwards about your post... the bike look identical to that one, I didnt want to post this as I dont know at all if its just a coincidence or not, and didnt really wanted to get your hopes up when it could have just been someone elses bike, but if I was in your position I would have probably wanted to know. Good luck mate, sorry that I wasnt much of a help.
