Bitch thread--- some people shouldn't be allowed to ride

Hey you you total fuckwit--Yea you screaming up lake road belmont on a green ZXR400 with sneakers shorts and a tee shirt on --dont be such a total fuckwit.Youre a public menace on so many counts,Scattering pedestrians at a pedestrian crossing then screaming up between traffic.
I hope to god you aren't reading this because to be honest I'd hate to think a KB member would be that totally stupid.

    I am real cool

Today I got my first pedestrian to admire an average wheelie display Got a nice smile and approving nod from a young person as I sailed by. Do the police smile and nod in a similar fashion?

Yes the bastards, sometimes it even puts me off my food when I see a bike injured or scattered across a road! It's never a pretty sight.

Thats exactly what im talking about!
I always give the young guys shit when they come into the store without protective gear.
Some dont like it. but they have to get it through their head somehow!

its all macho bullshit, got a mate in perth with a yzf600, he's an accident and emergency nurse, so I guess he's seen most of it, always but always wears full leathers when on the bike, the amount of shit he gets from Oz bikers for bein a pussy is unbelievable, but he gets the last laugh when he sets about the gravel rash with a scrubbin brush!

    Hmm.

Must have seen 10 or more riders today lacking significant protective gear of one sort or another. Plenty of bikes out and about, though, so that was still a minority, but... ouch.

I dont have protective leathers even been know to wear a pair of jeans and a singlet, but that was back on the states where the road surface is slightly more forgiving. I always wear the helmet since i heard about a guy having his head rolled over by the car that hit him, gonna get a nice jacket and maybe some chaps for here soon as i have the money,, coincedentaly does anybody have a suggestion for some good gear?

I dont care about the older ones. They cant be told what to do.
The younger ones are more likley to listen to what we have to say.
Most of them dont know any better.
Ive seen that guy with no helmet round the place.
I wonder if he has flies stuck in his teeth?

Hmm, I wonder how forgiving that road surface in the states would have been if your skinny white ass slid down it at 50mph, eh?

What to buy depends on your gear budget. Lots of discussion here on the topic previously, do a few searches and see what you can find. Second-hand leathers are great value, waterproof nylon/goretex/cordura stuff is great for all-weather riding, etc, etc... you pays yer money and takes yer pick...
