    A-ha!!

Here's some good info for you

I'll bet a sizeable sum this is the bandit that was sold at the Phil Turnbulls liquidation auction for $4750

Myself and several other KBers were there, it seems like a decent beast but if you want us to have a closer look we can.

I'll wager you can get it cheaper than $7200 tho

edit: FYI - it was on the shop floor for $7995 I believe

edit #2: I should also mention, there was an auction premium of 10% so in actual fact the buyer would have paid $5225

If you really want to find out (by seeing when the last change of ownership was done) you can get a lemon check which gives the full ownership history as well as heaps of other info www.lemoncheck.co.nz - $20 for AA members, otherwise $25.

Also there is www.carfax.co.nz where you can get a report for $9 which includes ownership history. You can find out a little bit of info for free by just entering the plate, such as wof, rego history and mileage at the time of each wof check.

Might be worth doing a lemon check to see if there is any finance registered against it.

Would stay clear of the second one with the broken plastics Liz spells crashed to me . The other one looks good for the right price , around $6800 would be top dollar for me tho .

I'm pretty sure that 1st one is the bike at the auction. Same mileage and colour. From memory I think the pipe was a Neptune, may pay to enquire on the seller. Think it had a pack rack as well. Give rgvrider a pm, he will know.

Have to agree with you and Yod, certainly appears to be the same bike, didnt seem to be anything wrong with it though. It may be worth having a look and waving some folding stuff around

If he was to come back to you, knock the price even further. Always be prepared to walk away, though easier said than done sometimes.
