Random Spur Rd, Cheviot - any good?

Have any of you Canterbury guys have probably done this one, is it any good?
It doesn't appear to very long and links up with St Leonard's Rd into Culverden, could be a good little loop ex Hanmer, Waiau, Parnassus and back to Hanmer. I could sneak out while the missus looks in shops and goes to the hot pools, she'll hardly notice I've gone

Yep Random Spur Rd coupled with Kaiwara Rd make a good section we usually include when taking a bunch of other stuff as in the CCC loop thread(s) and the whole lot is visible, highlighted on the S.I. google map display on cooneyrs site... www.advroutes.org.nz

I'd be watching out and take it easy around the sheep in lambing season (I believe that's now).

Random spur road is between Brophys Road (Cheviot end) and Kaiwara Road (Culverden end). Kaiwara Road links to St Leonards Road which leads to Culverden. Kaiwaru Road has a few gates but is well worth the ride.
