I probably only do about 5-6000 km/s per yer.

I really only ride to work and back these days.

I struggle to reconcile bike ownership with paltry distances ridden.

I am constantly amazed by bikes for sale with mileages less than 1,000km per year of their lives. I mean, what's the point?

This year I have been deprived of my bike for over three months, but will still click in a whisker under 30,000km ridden on that bike. Big Yam is due its 80,000km service sometime this side of Christmas. Add to that about 10,000km of two-up riding on Mrs H's most excellent GSF650SK6, and 2008 has been most kind indeed.

Hi I clocked up 44,000km in the last two years on my main bike. Thats 22,000 km per year and about 2,000km to 3,000 on my second bike per year. I don,t use my bikes for work they are just for weekends etc. It is common for me to do a 200km Friday night ride just to destress.

Normally I do 20000 - 24000 km per year, however in the past year its only been 7000 km. 5000 km of that has been in the last 6 weeks, and over 1600 in the past 32 hours.

Guess who did the Chatto Creek. Nice. Great weather for that this year.

3500 k's since rebuilding my bike in september so I'm guessing around 12-15000 per year. I do around 200 every average weekend and some cummuting plus have other bikes.

4000 miles in 4 months, 1st Road bike, 1st bike in 20 odd years. My friends all reckon i ride like a nana so them miles took me twice as long to do as anyone else

I'll roll over the first anniversary of Betty's acquisition later this month, and in spite of spending most of the final quarter of the year without a licence, I've managed to put about 27,000km on her.

I'm going to keep her until she's worn out. Best bike ever.
