will be good. about to put a thread up re fri night.

Dunno, want to get away from here at 9am, I will txt Cowboyz when we get to Mangaweka. I thinks it a tad over 600 K's from here, taking in a few stops for smoke/drink/piss/food ....looking like later in the day.
leave there at 9am should put you somewhere near here about 4ish. Unless you have a Triumph rider with you who likes coffee, then we will see ya sunday.

Well you did call Meanie, Mr! Brought it all on yourself.

I'd be into that given a decent day. Always up for a spin through V Hill.

Went on Gary's "economy" run today. Met up with Martin at the Carterton sprints. Quiet wee toodle home. Gary can fill you in on the details.

Turned out to be quite a bit longer than I had planned for. I could blame the late arriving latte sipping smoke roller that arrived 3 minutes before 1pm. But then if that delay hadn't occured then we would have missed Sly and Melissa. I suppose the 4 wrong turns I made ate up a bit of time too ;(
Around 280kms on my trip meter

Thanks to everyone that turned up. I will post the figures soon on the other thread. Sorry for the overrun.

Hey Gary it was good to be out on the bike. The castle point rd detour ment more riding. We could have gone to Tainui then back to Alfredton

Even had time to do an oil change or two

Thanks for the ride Gary. Never been to the sprints and I'm seriously considering entering the next one in November.

Had a blast on the twistie stuff and enjoyed trying to keep up with the SV and the Monster Tiger. Wish I hadn't jumped on the 955i though, got a craving for displacement now!

Think its time for me to invest in some proper leathers aswell.

I went on the CDMTC ride to castlepoint today. Wish I'd gone with you guys instead.

My impressions - poorly organised, for a club. Lost 2 bikes at pahiatua because instructions weren't clear, wasted 1/2 hour looking and waiting, group split (bad directions) back of mauriceville and most regrouped at Masterton. Amazing 'Gale' force winds at castlepoint on ridge, found 2 lost riders.

Coming out of castlepoint just over bridge (on bend) a huge gust of wind pushed the Kat onto the verge and it got nicely parked in bank between two pines. (Rider and bike a bit bruised). Some plastic repairs needed and possible realigning of forks.

Nice caring group of riders though.

    Bummer about the bruising.

Good excuse for the yellow repaint you think?

Could have been worse. Ask HornetBoy about his Kat.
Must have been a day for dissorganisation and confussion as the sprints had organisation/equipment issues getting the results out too.
