    Preload 101

    All,

Ive got the V-Strom DL1000 and Im enjoying it tremendously. Ive got the Rider seat made that has dropped the height a bit, but Im still on the tips of my toes. It doesn't worry me that much - but I thought a bit more flat foot on the floor would be helpful in gas stations etc where it can be slippery.

On the stromtrooper.com site they recommend adjusting the preload a little to help with the height 'issues' (it is a tall bike).

At the moment the bike is in the 'default' from dealers position.

Ive looked and cannot find a '101' on how to adjust to lower properly (ie - a change in the rear needs 'what' in the front etc.)

So - anyone here able to offer a suspension noob some help?

Eat more pies - People keep singing "who ate all the pies" as I walk past - so I assume that they are gone already.

So lets go with the catch up - Ill bring Beer!

    Ill drop you a PM.
