this is totally insane. No place for pussies there. I like the way they throw the bikes down the hill & follow them down.

The way that bike on day 3 comes back into camera tumbling down the hill faster than it went up was priceless

    From HH Media

Red Bull Romaniacs has just finished and Kiwi Chris Birch was 3rd in the Pro Class on a DQ of 24:05:09 - well done !!

It was won by the Brit. Graham Jarvis with a total of 23:40:06. 2nd was German, Gerhard Forster on 23:50:27.

This 'fifth edition' offered a total of 15.000 Euros in prize money. The competition starts with a prologue within Sibiu's town center, followed by 4 days of competition along a difficult course through the Southern Carpathians.

In the Prologue they travel over many wooded structures but problem was it rained and there are some photos of the chaos in the Hobby Class on: http://www.redbullromaniacs.com/photo/photos-2008/

See Chris in action on Day 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RM9b5PSyJMA

In the Experts Single Class, Kiwis Mark Delatour was 2nd and Tom Chapman 14th.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.
