When I was a younger I would have taken him on.

Now I'm a bit older I'd try to avoid conflict. It is easy to play the Internet Tough Guy but he might have a screwdriver in his back pocket and motorcycle gear provides little defence against a screwdriver.

I too would have probably had a go at him, when I was younger and much stupider. Now, being older and not quite as stupid, I would have made sure I would have gotten away from him quick. Some people don't value their or my life as much as I do, so I try to avoid those kind of situations.

Hmmmm a slight tiff involving contact of the Shoei or Arai to his temple would be just right...

Then piss on his drivers seat

I have found myself of late - having the same attitude. Since having children anyway. All the same, it would feel rather fullfilling to hand the little pricks ass to him on a plate. Its gotta be worth it though. Knowing my luck Mr Plod would pull around the corner at the most inappropriate time....

I agree that any kind of gesticulations just aggrivate cagers. I have tried to "wave" people back from me when I have thought they were just a little too close for comfort and most of the time I just get the finger.

A polite wave back usually always works for me when some knob is tailgating me. Either when I'm on the bike or in the cage.

If push came to shove I'm not sure what I would do but I'm not going to lie down and roll over, that's for certain.

Then there's the "merging lane undertaker" that I will not tolerate. They just don't have a clue WTF they are doing because they are such crap drivers. It just doesn't occur to them that they are knob-end, cellphone texting, road users.

Not to mention paintwork. I really like my car.. and damage to my car would piss me off.. BUT I don't tailgate or pass people when I shouldn't anyway, so I think I'm safe and that this guy deserved anything that could've happened to him. I agree that he should've been held down and done for the whole home detention/assault/reckless driving situation, with a few jabs and such on top to make you feel better

I've spent the last 5 years having to hold my tongue and avoid to the best of my ability any confrontation on the road as I drive around in a work cage with sign writing and the phone number stickered on the side. I would feel great satisfaction getting the chance to knock out some little punk ass piece of shit if he deserved it.
Last time i felt that good was when some dude booted my old RX7, well the good feeling came when I knocked him to the ground and introduced him to Mr steel cap! Hehe

Wearing a helmet into a fight can be more of a hindrance. The opponent grabs you by the helmet and has leverage on your neck - you're fucked.

Try it sometime with a big mate and see how easy it is.
