it was all over rover as soon as the bike and car were pulled over. If someone comes at you like that - I believe in getting in first / fast and hard.

Having said that - there can be a price to be paid - you may end up getting hurt because hes better than you or you win the battle but lose the war because you are in the wrong and would be considered the instigator in a court of law.

While you had him pinned down the cops should of been involved, due to being on home detention an offence such as dangerous driving then an unprovocked attack on you guys (your word against his) let me see who do I believe, would of been enough to send him to jail pretty much immediatley as well. Road rage, careless use, perhaps dangerous use AND he assaulted you, taking a flying kick at you, the fact that it didn't have the intended effect is irrelevant.

In my view the only appropriate response is to beat him vigourously, and then hold him pending the arrival of the police. Preferably in a very uncomfortable position, guaranteed to induce significant amounts of pain.

Even if they decide not to charge the little scum, you will know that he got his just reward for his actions, a damn good beating. Well, I was the pillion in this event.

It wasn't really a shake of the fist as such. More just a unfriendly wave. You know the one. Its not like we flipped him the bird.

Secondly. I just stood next to the bike making sure he wasn't going to attack the bike. Also incase my mate got the beat down I was there to "assisst". Basically he ran over and did like a flying kick into my mate. Mate caught his leg and put him down on the grass. Then basically pinned him down on the grass and yelled shit like "What the f@ck is your problem" "You could have killed us" "You idiot". His excuse was if he wasn't home in 2 minutes the cops would be on his ass. Turns out he had a home detention braclet on his ankle and he was running late. Once he figured he was screwed he basically turned into a little cat saying sorry and all those sorts of things.

In hind sight we should of got his number plate and phoned the cops. But you know how it is when someone trys to run you down.

My vote would have been hold the fooker there and awaited the cops, especially once you learned of his home detention thingy but it's easy with hindsight innit, not always thinking logically when someones just tried to wipe you up and then done a Bruce Lee on ya. Well, you'd have about buggered yourself then. You're not likely to get on the bike and ride away without a shove, which might put you over... You're not going to reason with any wigger like that, so you're only left with one option.

Strike first, strike hard... Kick him square in the nuts, or push his nose bone into his brain with an open palm strike to the face. Once you get him on the ground, keep battering him (either with kicks, gloved punches) till he looks like he's going to give up. Once he's in submission, use your helmet to batter him till blood runs from his mouth, nose and ears.

Then drive over him in his car.
