Stupid Question: English (None bike related)

You all like to answer silly questions right? I've got a couple... It's English too.

Whats it mean by "Silver Tongue"? e.g. "...with his silver tongue...."
If so, how about "Silver Spoon"?? This is a quote from Shawshank Redemption: "...Silver Spoon up his ass..."

What's it mean? Stylish? Thanks lol

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Silver tongue. A glib, well spoken person who can persuade people of anything

Silver spoon "To be born with a silver spoon in his mouth" = to be born into a wealthy and influential family, into a life of priviledge. So, "silver spoon up his arse" - a wealthy arrognat snob, an arsehole who thinks he is importnat because his family is wealthy.

There used to be a sitcom eons ago called "Silver spoons" Dad was a young immature adult who had rooms filled with video games etc. The son was serious and much more focussed than his dad heh ...
