Fair point. I'd probably sacrifice the supposed 10kg to get the 09 CBR's ABS if it's actually a good sport system (and can be disabled for trackdays) because I commute on my bike.

It's not all about weight and power but the ZX-6R was starting to lag behind the others by a fair bit. This model should even it up nicely.

gotta make a start somewhere... Why bother saving 10kg on the bike, when I can drop 25kg myself aye?

Long time no see... finished writing bikes off?

Its green so it will be the shit! 99% of us cant ride any 600 to its potential so it doesnt matter a shit if a bike is apparently down on power or a bit heavy just ride it, go green!

Underseat exhausts heat up the rear shock a bit much apparently...

Undertail pipes are gone to save and lower the weight. Expect more of this. 2010 R1 I predict will get under engine pipes. And ducati ...... well who knows the Italians are often style first .......

Personally I like undertails ................ but then I own a Hornet

Don't think that's entirely true. The 07 CBR600RR with undertail was much lighter than the R6 and GSX-R600 which both had stubbies.

I think it's more about managing the emissions regulations and what's in fashion.
