    2007 RMZ450 Engine noise

Just bought a 2007 RMZ450 find the engine is quite noisey when started up goes away a bit as the bike warms up only being out on it once for about an hour. Has done around 65-70 hours from new I did oil and filter when I got it. The noise is kind of a rattle in the top end just seems louder than the motor should sound. Anyone encountered this with this bike I am sure I read somewhere these bikes make a lot of engine noise either way I think I will throw a new piston at it for peace of mind.

    Feedback appreciated
    Cheers.

They are quite noisey engines but it maybe the cam chain needs tensioning?????? They do need to be looked esp at that sort of hours

Correct me if I am wrong I think the 07 has automatic cam chain tensioners? I thought it could be the cam chain I know the 05/06 are manually adjusted.
