    Blah Cool Norton rotary video

I Know this is a re-post, but I thought this video was deserving of it's own thread. Bike is the new Norton NRV588 (588cc twin rotor rotary powered) making it's debut at the IOM this year. Some serious power for a 600, Norton quotes it at as 170Bhp @ 11,500rpm and 80 ft lbs @ 8,000rpm. All this in a bike weighing 130kg's dry

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Between Crazy two stroke http://www.twostrokeshop.com/TSS1100GP.htm and Rotary Norton the 2-stroke would probably win, but would the Norton use less Gas?

    Love that red glow

That looks like neon lights under the bike. Haha.

    P.S. Does that mean it's a 3 stroke?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Well I don't see how it could have any appeal to anybody if it isn't environmentally concious.

    Haha, love the blatent trolling

As for the road going version: http://www.nortonracing.com/road/

Looks like they have a future for a limited set of road going bikes.

Should be cracker to see how it performs at IOM in the senior TT against the 1L 4-strokes. What power do they put down, must be at least 190hp+ ? the weight differential will prove pretty interesting thats for sure!
