    Pretty awesome ride
Very reminiscent of the solo ride that Michelle Birchall did back in the early 90s , a full circumnavigation of OZ on a XR250

    Hi
Glad you enjoyed the story. I am sure you will totally enjoy the tour in the outback. I would recommend not going as I did in the heat of summer if possible, and keeping away from cities. Hope it all goes well for you.

You'll do them too I think! Hold onto those dreams, but not for TOO long!

Yes, I do plan to return to Oz next dry, say April '09, however I shall up the ante this time by taking my wife along as pillion! I saw so much that I know she will enjoy as well. She really wants to do a camel trek and has convinced me to get off the bike for 5 days and take a 'ship of the desert' for a trek out to lake Eyre!( She is an ex horse person!).

I won't hijack ur thread with my drivell, surfice to say, the bug has well bitten me!
