How I read that ad is that it is a job for a young person with no particular qualifications and no experience - yet.
A lot of job ads used to say "experience needed" and if kids didn't have any experience they couldn't get any. A Catch 22 situation.
So to get that rate of pay and gain experience at the same time isn't a bad deal at all. Much better than sitting at home on the dole.
The only job where you start at the top is when you are digging a hole.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
Sorry mate went off line there !
Well down this way outfits like allied workforce etc hire ppl for jobs Temp and permanent pay them so much, but get paid a few bucks more than that by the crowd who need the staff , its how they make profit from it !
Lot of employers like it as they dont have to worry about redundancies, sick pay ! Problems laying shit heads off who cant work to save emselves !!
Good for the bigger construction firms who need labourers for the early stages but then don't need as many grunts in later stages, so they use workforce labour ! Workers get 14 an hour , allied and the like get 3 or 4 buck for every hour you work, employers have no hassles ! everyone wins rrrr sort of !
If ya bypass the workforce crowd and figure who it would be that needs staff like some have mentioned who they think might be looking, on here ! If ya walk in off the street with some good refs and cv etc, could be a chance they might like the look of ya and flag going through workforce !
Lot of employers like going through them though cause they dont have to fuck round doing interviews and vetting ppl etc !

We all work for our livings (except those lucky enough to be living on trustee funds) and from my experience those earning less usually work alot harder for it.
More power to them... and just think of the levels of passion involved for a low income earner to afford his new bike compared with your trader buying the latest kit with his bonearse!!!!!
Everyone has an opinion.. mine can be found here Riding Articles
It sounds like someone who is willing to do what they can for their money is more deserving of your pay than you are. You'd rather be a dole bludger than work if it meant you actually had to work?
And remember.. you have to start somewhere, I'm only on $12.50 at the moment cause I'm an apprentice.
this sounds like a job for a student/new to the workforce type person. To me thats sounds like a heap of money if your straight out of school. I would've been stoked with that sort of cash when I first rocked out of school. I was on a stinking $7.50phr when I first started my apprenticeship, but I managed to get by & worked my arse off to get to where I am now. I don't work as hard as I used too but I've got the knowledge I need & I work smarter.
Good on ya van for giving it a go work hard & you'll see the rewards![]()
