Quite likely. They did a stint up there around this time last year and ticketed a number of unregistered bikes.
    Time to ride

YES... it is a legal "open" road in... 100 km/hr... plus they're hot on "off road" assholes doing damage to the area... Stick to the tracks and be legal... no worries...

The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?

theres alot off people j walking as well. Should be quite lucrative for the local Constabulary. Bet ya if there was someone charging and taking tours in there the feds would be eating donuts somewhere else. Funny how its the adventure capital as long as ya can afford it.

Came back yesterday after three days in there.
Some f#$@wits turned up in a couple of 4WDs and proceeded to rip up a slope.
That's the reason the cops go up there.
As for vehicles having to be regoed and WOFed, the road is in such a poor state I don't know how they could do you and still sleep at night.

Yep, to stop all the wankers on trail bikes and 4WDs from trashing the place...

Years of asking nicely and warnings didn't achieve anything.
