Lots of people appreciate them from what I've seen. My wheelie skills are non-existant but the times I've been following the one wheeled brigade (brucy, WT, Death etc.) I've seen quite a few car drivers make approving noises (remember the white van on the way down to Wgtn/Coldkiwi last year bruce? I think he got the show twice after we stopped and was delighted!)

Somewhere out there on the web is a vid with a bunch of stunters cockups. No doubt there are many- this vid ends with some guy flipping it, the bike slides along the road and hits a parked car, shunts the car backwards and pretty much writes them both off. If the car had been moving it probably would have gotten airborne and landed on its roof, hollywood style. If I did a wheelie, thats probably how it would end up

I did pass a car while airborne once. Betwixt Blenheim and Kaikora theres a breif stretch of road that is real bumpy. I decided to pass there, forgetting just how bumpy it was, as the car went down the other side of the bump I kinda carried straight on- wheels flying past his window.

Well I enjoyed it. Don't think he/she did though- quick check of mirrors saw car recovering after rapid move to left
Please note, this move was NOT intentional- more of a styley f^ck up

My god! You may just be the perfect woman. You're into bikes and you randomly quote Starwars....my favourite thing to say when I'm trying to change one of my struggling toddlers: (deep voice) "You cannot resist the dad side of the force" (darth vader breathing noises)

All completely innocent, I can assure you. Other parents here will know what I mean. It's amazing how difficult it can be to dress/ change a nappy when they don't want you to. Pays to find a way to keep your temper in check.
