I think the Caddy belongs to Duane Jones (Maybe wrong but it IS a Kiwis car)

And the Kiwi salt-racer cars have been setting some records - check the NZHRM forums for those who care, - in fact even if you don't but like to follow Kiwis succes I highly recommend you visit that site. (New Zealand Hot Rod Magazine forums).

But yeah, it's a trip every petrol-head should make I reckon...

    Yep Duane Jones.
Bill Ward's blog captures the commitment of a core of enthusiasts over many years which becomes an obsession to get a job done, a job that was completed with a backed up record this year.
2 of our fringe / past KBers are on the salt watching (Jamo & Nibor) along with close to 1,000 other Kiwi's & expats - a real Kiwi invasion.

Just been looking thru a friends pics from Bville to find this jem. Bloody great the rider can still be involved & feel usefull.
Our own Chris Harris came back a para from rolling his racecar at 180+mph a few years ago and still goes back most years for his son Lincoln to race the salt.
