Yet another body armour thread

Who among you has EVER been saved a bruise or scrape or something worse by your wearing of body armour? I mean, seriously?

Gotta be a wind up or a troll guys! or he's never taken that old BSA in an Enduro ride! I thank god for my Azonic armour damn near eveytime I go out!

ive never actually worn body armour.. ive got a kidney belt tho..

Ive never really had any chest injuries before, its always just twisting my legs and gettn them tangled up in the handle bars every time i fall off that gives me the injuries

I tend to connect with a tree most rides, usually cutting the corner & whacking my shoulder into a branch or the tree itself, so quite happy to have a pressure suit.

I did take the back off, but put it back on after talking to someone who'd ended up going backwards into a tree & he reckoned it saved him big time.

Im looking for some body armour to combat the constant bruises and grazes, something with elbow pads. I found this, its at the cheaper end of the scale BUT is it worth going cheaper. looks like it would do the trick and its within budget. are there any reasons not to buy it.??

If you want the best body armour, buy a bullet proof vest. Best protection for blunt force trauma.

And really handy when your being shot at or on the Waiouru army camp trail ride

ive had an evs ballistic jersey for on 3 weeks now,fuck knows if its saved me from serious harm ive still come off bruised and strained,but it gives me more confidence for some reason.even know i look like a fag wearing it.
