A 25 year old Manawatu man died at 7pm yesterday when he lost control of his motorcycle on a bend near Scotts Rd north of Tokomaru. Police said the motorcycle crashed through a fence and caught fire. Emergency services attended from Palmerston North and Levin. A police traffic unit carried out the initial investigation and the serious crash unit was expected to be called today. The dead mans name was withheld by police while his next of kin were advised.

Bummer, I travel that road twice a day but was 4 times yesterday, just missed it I think.
Good taste in bikes, doing what he loved. I hope his family have plenty of support as they remember the good times.
Found out on Saturday that his guy was a mate of Pauly's.
