The older you get the less you move around.
One of the things I have noticed about getting back into riding is that there are muscles and joints that maybe need a bit of work. A simple example would be the neck. As I ride a sports tourer I lean forward slightly and my head isn't that used to turning around to look behind me? Obviously backs, shoulders and even ankles are affected.
Are there exercise techniques that you use or recommend to get your body fit for riding?
