Norman Ross - Wellington

And hi to all.

Does anybody remember a motorcycle dealer called Norman Ross Limited in Wellington? His full name was Norman Lewis Ross.

The business was in Wellington in the 1950's - 1960's, latterly at 29 Dixon Street. Norman was in partnership with William (Bill) White from 1953 for a number of years but then seems to have parted company in the early 1960's and simply dropped out of sight.

It is possible Norman started or had a cafe over the showroom in Dixon Street in 1962.

If anybody knows anything about Norman and what happened to him I would be grateful, as I am sure he is a relation but know next to nothing about him.

FWIW i bought a couple of new Yamahas from whites in dixon street about 1978 or so...but i am sure it was up the other end of dixon street
