quite interested in this one, been in touch with dealer, willing to go halfs ($250) in transport from there to here (AKL)
Harden up. Fly down there and ride it back up. You will enjoy the trip, just don't loose your license.

    froooom.... idiots?

He is right tho... only you know what you want. People can offer their viewpoints, but you don't seem to like them so far.

As to the suzukis... who the hell cares? Vast majority end up in ditches/walls/paddocks/gardens or fall to pieces. Doesn't matter which model you own.

    UPDATE:

Scouted out 2 GSXR1000's SE models with all carbon bits etc.

Pretty sure I will settle on one tomorrow from down the line. Will probably if all goes ahead, Pick it up on Monday as I have to go to wellington to pick up stuff. Are these easy to trasport on a tralier like a trail bike with tie down on the front bars forwards and maybe a couple hooking off the back legs back? Ive got a big trailer so there is plenty of room.

Congrats on your decision. Can't help you about the trailor but I can say that tying my Ducati down was a bitch. No easy points on the front, I had to lace the tie-downs up through the forks or I'd have cracked the fairing.

Have you trailered a bike before?

Try to lock the front wheel, either in blocks at the front, or diagonal into a corner (parallel with trailer is best for riding the road tho). Front bars or forks, depending on fairing (don't want to place too much pressure on the plastics), try to avoid tying onto the handlebar grips. Tie it down hard, compressing the front suspension.

Then a tie down through the rear wheel, loop it through and tie on each side. Rear ties just stops it bouncing around really...
