Don't try the Hyobag if you rub the paint hard enough the words " Coca Cola" come through.

Cheap underpowered Korean piece of crap.... know several people with them and they wish they had bought another make.

They not worth poking at with a 10 foot pole.

Stick with Suzuki, Kawasaki or Ducati... you can't do much better than these brands.

Ha, the funniest thing I have heard today. Nice.

Buying one brand new at retail would be a silly idea as for the same amount of cash you could get one of the good top 4 brands that is still in good nick.
Only reason I thought about it was because I could get one on the cheap and down low but they do not seem worth it really, especially after a GSXR1000K7 or 750, the K7's are damm good looking, love the tidy tails

ok ya want a chick puller

ok deal is ya want something with noise.
but when ya riding it dont let the bike controll you.
meaning you should be able to ride the powerful beast at an easy pace. eg any idiot can show off.
so get a bike that makes a noise when idiloing not reving.
a gsxr only sounds good at revs.
but a twin sounds hot idioling and at revs. but not an SV. dukes are expensive an break down... alot.
so honestly when rolling during rush hour when ya can only do the limit a sports twin is they way.
look at aprilia. just have a look.
im sorry to say that it owned me, lots of grunt, great noise and presence.
and it aint japenesse, its itilian ( i hope) lol
and the chicks love it. honestly.
but they come with a warning. ( not the chicks) be careful.
aprilia and male testostornoe ( spelling) and or showing off dont work.
but i want another, i had one and would love another.check em out.

Yea well a gsxr 750 or 1000, depending on the cash prices the dealers can give me and color choices etc. I love the black/hot orange combo oh the choice why cant they just make them one color so we dont have to choose dammit! they are a very nice bike. Im a fully Honda XR400 & 650 rider OFF ROAD and I swear by them but I aint that much impressed with their road bikes. Suzuki on the other hand, off road...ok, on road amazing. Seen a few bikes over the 19 years of riding but only owned less that what you can count on one hand and most of them Honda but they were all dual sports and XR's.
The gixxer will be my first proper hell bound road bike. Looking forward to it

Been looking around, theres heaps of K6/K7 gixxer 600 750 and 1000's.

Realistically I think Im heading more in the direction of a late model 600 or more preferably 750 rather than a new 1000 (unless I can score one for 13K which I doubt it)

Ive found these ones that ticking my fancy. Ive ordered them with a number as you can see so when replying to which one you think is a + or - please use the number as referance. Some are off bikepoint and some are off trade me.

I remain firmly of the view that a Suzuki VStrom 650 will do everything you want. The 1000 will do a lot more but the 650 is a good equivalent to the BMW.

Go for a seven-fiddy if you can stretch to it financially, those extra 150cc's make a whopping difference in terms of bottom end power.
It'll actually make it easier to ride, some say the Gixxer 750 is the best blend of road-going power and light weight. Those that haven't ridden the new ZX10R, that is...

Yea I really want to get a 750 preferably over a 600, ive been told by many & it makes sense, those extra 150 would make a differance in certain areas. Theres a few other 750's on the cards but its just working a deal I guess. I would be tempted for a 1000, Ive got the cash for a new 1000 if I wanted to but its not the point, the 1000 is a big bike and I dont want to jump too deep in it with such a big bike, im not going to be doing 250kmh+ on the north western all the time and from what I have heard the 750 is a good allround bike, good fun, and does the job of getting you to a from work and in and out of stuiky spots well without being a massive overkilled power horse, but in saying that, if I managed to score a massive deal on a K7 or K8 1000 then I would take it & just get used to it.

I really want to get one of the orange/black combo 750's though, they are sex on wheels in my eyes. K7 or K8 but if push comes to shove I would settle on a black one. Not keen on the white/blue ones, everyone has a bike that color plus it looks pretty 90's.

seems to me you ned to think a bit more about what YOU want..you mention a Hyosung 250 and a Suzuki 1000 in the same post....whats your experience on the road???
A 1000 is actually EASIER to ride in some situations.More torque,so you can ride at all speeds without worrying about which gear you are in....ride both before you commit

FYI the 750 happens use less fuel if you are going for a long ride as well. since you don't have to work it as hard as the 600.
