    Yet another n00b. (EatOrBeEaten)

    Hi, I'm EobE, moving to Auckland from Scotland in a couple of months and keen to make some contacts out your way before I make the move. Not got a bike just now, but it's high on the list of priorities to buy out there (and the riding is one of the reasons I'm coming in the first place!)

    So yeah, looking forward to hearing from anyone wanting to show me a good time once I get out there!

    What part of Scotland are you from? Nicer places than Aucks to live, hubby's from Glasgow, we moved to Invercargill from Auckland about a year ago now.

    Hope you settle in well and get yourself some wheels!

    Chickadee- I'm from Glasgow, figured Auckland would be more my scene as I don't want to be in a small town by myself! Plan is to live in Auckland to begin with (my job is there anyway) and go with the flow.

    No sweets it will be fine! We have had one of the wettest winters I can remember up here in the winterless north of NZ, I dont mind rain as a rule, but combine it with cold wind and leaking pants it is the pits...LOL

    Make sure you give me a heads up when you land in Godzone, I live about an hour north of Auckland and would love to meet you. I am a 50/50 blend Canadian/Scot, terrible combination some will be quick to assure you
