OK then, you have bought the latest.

You dont race so thats out, after removing the bike from the garage you clutch in past the ranch-slider window and you really look the part then the stares from baggy panted fourth formers as you head out serves to justify purchasing the latest blimp suit, you struggle to breath as you catch a glimpse of yourself in the angled New World windowthe bulge in your leathers threatens to remove the tank protector so you adjust the Gorilla grip to save some Steinlager dosh, all good but all that aside do you actually get any faster, not a piss-take at all just a oldish bugger who would be interested to see the replies.

I did read this 5 times. But still had no idea what you are on about. Perhaps do the writing when straight?

I think he's getting at buying the latest bikes and gear just for an Image, not for the 'proper' reasons. ??

You got some new leathers, slowed in front of the window at home to admire, 4th formers were jealous of you, see yourself in New World reflection, you got excited, something about saving your tank pad from your excitation so you can still afford some Steiny. The blimp suit doesn't make you any faster anyway.

    Right? Good on ya!

Ok. so he is trying to say something like:

You always wanted to beat Rossi, but the mortage, wife and the chance of promotion made you the best racer never to see the track . But the hard work has paid off. Today you have spent the bonus on something really shiny. (OK, so the wife has no idea, but you have always wanten to live dangerously...)

You press the automatic garage opener and you cutch in past the ranch-slider window where you see that you really look the part. The stares from the baggy panted fourth formers as you head out serves to justify purchasing the latest blimp suit, (this becomes clear when they salute you with their middle finer).

You struggle to breath as you catch a glimpse of yourself in the angled New World window.

The bulge in your leathers threatens to remove the tank protector. You make a mental note to adjust the Gorilla grip as you realise it is either a more sit up profile or a hard work out at the gym.

You do feel good while doing 65K inside the city limits. But as you hit the roads and the speed increases you start to wonder why you considered this fun in the past. There is also a strange feeling that the Commando was more to your liking. And perhaps still is...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Never said there was anything wrong with a Commando. The point was that perhps a Commando was more what would have fitted the bear gut and the speed wobbles. And the nostalgia (this was added to give some cred to 98's postings...)

Hahaha. you can add as much as you want to your post, the reality is that mine has no nostalgia mentioned.

I give you the beer gut. My bad. But bears do have big gut...

I have owned choppers all my life and can't see where this fits in?
