    Kimmy's Bike Park price rises

Just got a letter saying that the new 08/09 season is about to start at kimmy's bike park on Labour weekend 25/10/08

    Prices have been changed now

125cc two stroke or HIGHER is $35
    85cc - 200cc four stroke is $20
    under 85cc is $15

MX track has now been extended
Enduro track has got new changes made to it too.

I will stop in there on the way up to Auckland and have a squizz at the mx track out of interest and post up.

Just thought i'd let ya'll know

Well I can kind of see why. We used $1,900 worth of diesel/petrol last month for the quad bike and for grooming the tracks.

An MX track takes way more maintenance than trails.

There's a lot more trails at the sand pit than there are at Kimmies! But having said that, there's a lot more people "thru the door" too.

And you get the 6th ride free!! Yeh and we should support them at Thunder. They also give the profits to Westpac helicopter and a few other organisations. I've seen the plaques on the wall. All the more reason why we need little tracks like Ardmore to stay open!

Count me out for Kimi's thats to much!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

I'd say this includes 250cc 4T's and higher so there is a $5 increase from last year I think. I had a season pass so didn't pay per ride. Season passes have also increased too. Doubt I'll buy another one this year haha

If you get a spare minute today guys stop in at ARDMORE. I won't be riding but will stop in and give a donation. We need to keep thsi track open!!!!!

That quad might go better if you dont put diesel in it Ktmboy... I notice alot of talk about price of rides on here but have you ever taken the time to look at how much it costs to go to the movies for under 2 hours? All of the places and rides that have had price increases lately have had work done to improve them and this costs money to do.. We have spent alot of time and labour at The Sandpit upgrading and providing better riding for everyone as im sure the others have also.. It takes alot of people a fair wack of time to organise these rides and riding areas for all of us to enjoy..

Ouch! Tend to only go there once a year because of the costs of doing so and after a full day of riding it starts to get boring going around the same track. That won't be changing anytime soon.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!
