Touring lonely heart

OK guys don't get the wrong idea.

I'm not working at the moment and i'm bored to death sittin at home.

I fancy a ride to Cape Reinga and back via some interesting roads. May be 3 days.

I'll be riding a 91 Honda VRF750. Would prefer camping or cabins to keep costs low and because its what I want to do. Timescale from 17th Jan onwards

Make sure you do the Waipoua Forest, and the Maungamuka's. Oh, and theres the Papamoa/Oakly road, middle earth (thats Maungatapere to Kaikohe via twin bridges), or you could try the east coast, Old Russell road, Matauri Bay coastal road through to Whangaroa, and take a detour into Te Hapua, north east of Te Kao, oh and then there's always the trip out to Matai Bay, or the inland road down through Broadwood, not that I know much about the area.
