    bike not starting

    had the covers off the gixxer...had kept the key in,but not turned on and was adjusting my seating when the alarm on the bike went off....i quickly turned it off.......but now for some reason my bike is not starting.....and im stumped..when i turn on the bike the headlights come on but there is a red light on the odometer display area........im stumped........dunno how to check the fuses properly so havent tried that path out....any clues???

    Did you have the kickstand up? Clutch not in? Battery disconnected? keys not in? Kill switch off?

    Man I do that last one all the time
    The real mystery is how come that fat bastard Hurley has never lost any weight.

    sidestand was down...but for some reason...prob early morning blues...thot i cud start 'er up on 'er side.......dunno y.......was gonna zoom to akl uni,check out the sale at motomail sale and go to manukau afta that...schedule got stuffed bad and so did my bike gear shoppin.......

    That wasn't you I pulled up next to at the end of the North Western Motorway heading over the Harbour Bridge after leaving Motomail was it?
