I love my RG150 :love2: for lots of reasons,

#1 600's and 1000's are scared of it
    #2 its not that common up here(wow a CBR250RR seen one before...yawn)
#3 it was the best handling bike (You wait to see how fast this beast tips in)
    #4 WHEELIES
    #5 STOPPIES
    #6 WHEELIES
    #7 SPEED
#8 The look on peoples faces when ya talking bikes and they ask wot ya ride and ya casualy say...RG150 that eats 1000's for breakfast
#9 its Red and white and not italian
#10 my cool custom ripped out baffling, my custom scratch marks up the side fairings, the wicked scrap marks on the exhaust, the half worn away pegs and my speedo goes over 240kph, oh and its 32 rear wheel HP

theres my 10 reasons....why my bike rocks and all yours suck

Cheers Aaron, made my job easy hehehe

    I love my bike because:

    1. I owe nothing on it.
    2. It goes ok. (derestricted to 100+ HP)
    3. Every morning it starts with a push of the button.
    4. Tyres last well on it.
    5. My kids still think its cool even though its really quite tatty.
    6. It's big enough that my lardy arse doesn't look too bad on it (5 foot 10, 95 kgs).
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Ahhhh - immortality at last. A bike is alledged great simply because it is assumed that I am (lmao) "scared of it".

Yep, the seat is pretty close to the pegs on the ol' FZR, and yep, she's a bit of a stretch to the bars. To be honest, when I tried an RSV and an R1, I found them pretty uncomfy around town, but better at open road speeds 'cause the shorter reach to the bars allows the wind to hold you up. I've thought about putting some more padding on the seat to raise it up.

Aaron, is your R1 standard? I saw a dyno chart (from PBS) for an 04 R1, and it got to 150 odd. If yours is standard it will confirm my belief that much of what you read in bike mags is BS that the manufacturers tell them to say. Nick plotted my Fizzer on the same chart- the ol' FZR beats the R1 to 120hp, despite having badly out of balance carbs.

Biff Baff- the weight thing really only concerns me in terms of tyre wear- I know a good modern bike is going to handle better than I need it to. But the FZR wears out fronts pretty quick, and chews it's rears pretty hard. I put it down to the weight it's having to move. More power and more weight could only be worse? I'd hate to pay the running costs for a Rocket III!

I like mine best because I had the ideas and then built them, with a little help. Hopefully I'll get enthused soon and take them out and play again. I just love the horsepower.

KAWASAKI AND SUZUKI ARE WAY BETTER THAN YAMAHAHA , THEY SHOULD HAVE STUCK TO MAKING PIANOS. SUZUKI GSXR1000 K3 NOW THERES A BIKE , ITS FAST RELIABLE, COMFORTABLE, GOOD ON GRAVEL GOOD IN THE RAIN AND THEY LOOK GREAT UPSIDE DOWN IN A DITCH AFTER YOUVE CRASHED THEM. AND IT DOESNT NEED A 24LITRE TANK AS ITS FUEL EFFICIENT. WHERE ARE YOU SENSEI? ADD SOMETHING TO THIS

Actually I don't really like mine that much, its just a bike if you want to swap it for a GSXR1000 or an R1, that'd be pretty cool . Only bought it coz it was cheap, actually given a choice what I'd buy next, I have no idea, well OK maybe a modded VTR1000 that I rode recently....

FXR150s and GN250s feel like 20-and-a-bit, my Zeal feels like 30-and-a-bit... your seat-o-pants-o-meter is probably much more reliable than mine, though. Meh.

It's Friday, innit. It'd be stranger if you *hadn't* started.
Well I fink that my 2-fiddy is good (well any 2-fiddy that can g past 18,000 rpm and still have a bit a fun left in it). Your GSXR1000 or R1 still can't do that.

BTW... The best CBR250 (imo) was the MC19 ('88 and '89) highest torque at lower revs, and also had the HPs (45, where as the 91 onwards RRs only got 40).

Still I'd rather have a litre that'd go out to 40,000rpm, but then again I might just be dreaming.
