Cheers Speed King ! After 40 yrs trying I'm never gonna be brave enough to do that stuff. Had flatmates in the sixties who were pretty amazing guys, one did the opening scene in the movie "Stone", if you ever saw it ? and that was on a Z1 900 with about 70 hp and about 300kgs !!!!!!!!!!! G.

I actually prefer the original MV's with the black wheels (or gold) Chrome wheels on sports bike makes them look cheap/tacky. Can you get the new 1000 in different colour variations? I have seen yellow/silver and blue/silver combos on the net.

I haven't seen any of the blue/silver or yellow/silver ones yet. I've got a few MV contacts in the US and Europe and it seems none have been released there yet.

And the new (2003 onwards) MV's dont have crome wheels, they're silver to match the main bodywork colour. I actually like the silver more on my Brutale than the dark wheels my 01 F4 had.

To me silver wheels look cool on that bike and I suppose Ago had basic silver aluminium wheels. Black ones just don't show the dirt so much so I guess if I had an MV I'd have to clean it more than twice a year.
    Cheers
