    New Bike, New Bike

Just picked up a new bike today - 1999 CBR600 FX.

Been searching for a little while after the Ninja was written off. RIP old bike. :disapint:

The Honda is in classic red/purple colours and was flawless riding it home. That was until the fuel light came on and had make a quick detour to find a petrol station. (At least I know that works).

Spent this afternoon cleaning it up and lubing the chain etc.. Just need a new set of tyres before I really take it for a proper ride. Hope to be out on a KB ride soon.

Here are some picks after she's been buffed up:

    Excellent tastes there.

Mine is exactly the same, even the colours. I had to go out to my bike shed and just check that it wasn't mine.
    Nope, I still have mine.

I am a little vertically challenged, so mine is lower to the ground. Doesn't affect the handling at all.

It is gonna be a great day again today. I guess you just might have to take it out, just to make sure that it handles OK. Of course, being a Honda, it will.

Hopefully see you out on the road sometime. :spudwave:

Still yet to get into the habit of giving a "big ups" to people who choose Hondas. Rubberside down works best.
