    hey Guzzisti

This will only be interesting to the Guzzi peops here, well this is typical of the Guzzisti, a guy that I have only meet once before called in home we had a chat then he said take it for a spin...... well with a big cheese grin on my face I said 'yes please'

The 99 MG 1100i sport corsa is the same bike as my 1100i sport but its engine, wheels and frount guard are painted black along with the tail piece. It comes from the factory with carbon pipes and a mod chip. There were only 200 built this one in number 160 and brought in from the UK. There isent another in NZ and I doubt that theres any in Oz.

I had a similar zorst on mine, it was music in the garage [ snivle, sob, blurt]
And how come Guzzi can paint a heap of bikes bright yellow and they look cool, other manufacturers [ Triumph, Buell etc] do a yellow bike and it comes of Liberache gay?

Yeah was lucky aye...... and I might get another spin when he returns the oil filter tool (no need to remove the sump on these puppys) I leant him.

Ummm... handling was differant to mine but thats just in the set up the corsa I found to hard in the ass end and way too soft up frount, IMHO.
I reckon that the WP rear and WP USD frount is some of the best suspension I have ridden I had no complants about mine

As sweet as something really really sweet................... well to tell ya the truth it reminded me of mine when I 1st got it.
As ya know I sold mine a last year, well it took 6 months to get used to the VTR or should I say a normal bike again.
No need to tell you chaps that ya will never by a Guzzi by just riding it around the block........

Ok here goes..... sat my ass on the corsa, shit what a bloody plank.... hit the starter button, only a MG starter sounds like that on 2nd atempt the bike rolled hard to the left then to the right, god I love that feeling
droped it into 1st CLUNK amed it out the drive and let that bloody racket of a clutch out, with a allmighty flex to the frame wezz wer out... a there shit the old push rod things a fast with them 5 speeders ...... well I crashed it through all the other gears and it wasent till I was 3 houses from home that I was getting the feel of it again.
In summery I love the fuking old shitters, they is what riding is all about

[QUOTE=Mongoose]I thin k the shafty duck&dive is a myth perpertrated by chain owners,

Road a 1100 sport's over a very tight piece of road here as fast as my skill's would let me. Bike was nasty when on then off the power quickly through corner's kept standing up then flexing when back under load . I'm sure once you have riden them for awhile you wold get use to it . But not for me .
