8. Drivers not to be careless or inconsiderate--- A person may not
operate a vehicle on a road carelessly or without reasonable
consideration for other persons using the road.
37. Contravention of section 8--- (1) A person commits an offence if
the person operates a vehicle on a road carelessly or without reasonable
consideration for other persons using the road.
(2) If a person is convicted of an offence against subsection (1),---
(a) The maximum penalty is a fine not exceeding $3,000; and
(b) The court may order the person to be disqualified from holding or
obtaining a driver licence for such period as the court thinks
fit.
