    Ardmore practice day-Tomorrow-Sunday 19 October

    Subject: ARDMORE THIS SUNDAY

Just thought I'd post this for the guys who can't make it out on a Wednesday but don't want to race! John is having basically a Wednesday practice set up but on a Sunday. $20-00 instead of $10 as its all day

    PRACTICE RIDE THIS SUNDAY

We have been flat out all year trying to squeeze in as many rounds of the Wildman as we could (in between all the rainy weekends over winter) so this Sunday we are going to just kick back and run a nice relaxed practice day.
So its just practice riding split into classes, no starts or racing. Its $20 for the day.
I bulldozed the track after the big downpour yesterday morning - the ground had dried out already but the soil was really soft and crumbly so it just turned to powder when I powerharrowed it.After 9 hours bulldozing and powerharrowing its probably the best its been all year and with the rain today, the track should have had two lots of automatic watering (thanks to the weather) before riding on Sunday.
We will start at 10.00 on Sunday (no delays) and run three classes in
    20 minute sessions :
The first group will be for Senior 125s, 250s and 450s for Vets, Pro and Support level riders. The faster Junior 125 riders can also ride in this class.
The second group will be for Senior Novice riders, slower Vets and the older Junior 125 riders who want to ride with the Seniors.
The third group will be for Junior 85s, slower Novice level Junior 125 riders and Ladies. Junior 125 riders must pick one class and stay in that group all day.
The weather looks like its going to be perfect for Sunday so make sure you get out to the track early for as much riding as possible.
The long range forecast for next Wednesday isn't looking too flash and
we won't be open on the next two Wednesdays of October. The next Wednesday ride is going to be Wednesday November 5th after our next Sunday ride which will be on November 2nd.

Remember - awesome track conditions, stacks of riding, this Sunday at Ardmore.

Unfortunately they shut it down about 3:30 due to the dust. I suppose they are a but careful at the moment because of the resource consent issues. Oh well I got the bike run in my fauly I shouda gone a bit earlier. Telliman was there was a good day!
