    Kuratau Trail Ride

Went down to the ride on Saturday
Perfect weather and a great ride.

The main loop was mostly over farmland and farm tracks. The AA loop was tighter with rutted tracks and went through sort of alpine scrub. The AAA loop was pretty insane. Just some scrub chopped down with the stumps still in the ground about 1500 wide. This lead down a really steep hill section and then across a rocky river a couple of times then along the river and over a couple of logs. This was a real work out There was two AAA loops but we only went through one.
The main track was really fast top gear stuff most of the time. All the corners had nice berms formed by the afternoon.
I don’t think I have been on a ride were there was three ambulances in the car park most of the day. Saw some big crashes during the ride. Just think it was the openness and speed you could go. But there was plenty to catch you out if you weren’t concentrating or riding beyond you ability.

A great ride and will definitely go again

and a few more as you can see there was lots and lots a mud it was great not to cold rained all day sunday saturday was a good warm day. Lunch on sunday was as good as it is every year. We did all the a loops on the saturday gave them a miss on the sunday had heard it took someone most of the day to get through on the morning course (for the sunday) while checking it out in the dry on the saturday( we left sunday bout 330pm couple a quads had just made it back from the moring track so it was a good thing we left out the AAA loops.
And yes we will be back next year and those that didnt go you missed an awsome ride had it all.

hahaha i had nothing to do with that, it was all to do with the back tye loosing traction on a muddy uphill section and you happened to be behind the back tyre, nothing to do with me at all.

Thanks for posting the photos Barty5 and 4stroke.

That track certainly looks different than it did on Saturday, ha ha mate it would have been some fun with all that mud.
Did you guys do both AAA loops on Sat?
